FAQ about Our Services
Do you offer rental assistance? No. At this time Helping Hands only offers housing services.
What kind of housing services do you provide? Helping Hands provides low-barrier emergency shelter, long-term transitional housing, navigation services, and reentry.
Can I bring my pets? Helping Hands works to reduce as many barriers to shelter as possible. We can accommodate therapy cats and dogs, emotional support animals, or other types of services animals.
How long can I stay? After getting a referral, we provide emergency shelter for up to 30 days. If someone chooses to stay and enter the long-term program they can stay while they work to complete their Individual Reentry Plan. This averages 6-9 months, but can take longer.
How do I get a referral? To get a referral, go to the referral partners page, find the one closest to you, and get in touch with that partner. Alternatively, you can call the front desk of the closest Hope Center to you and see if there are beds, and they can connect you with a referral.
